Can compulsive obsessive disorder be a result of Post traumatic stress disorder?

yes it can. say for example that someone's house was broken into. as a result, the owner can become hyper vigilant. they would constantly check each lock and window, making sure they were indeed locked. if they heard something outside, they would have the phone ready to call the police.

it's expected for someone to be more after a traumatic incident, but after a certain point it can turn into ocd. but like the other user said, ocd can be triggered by alot of things.

Hello beloved youtube :D!

Yes, as much as you want to deny the fact that you have one - I think we all do those little things - Whether it be putting on lip balm 83482048203 times a day or doing things in a certian order.

As for me, I have a MILLION of obsessive compulsive disorders, many of which I hope my boyfriend won't find out for a long while. Like I said in the video, my two main ones are my thing for colour co-ordinating things and the thing I do with turning on 5 lights everytime I walk into my place. I Also straighten my hair everyday, not because my hair is like a poof ball or a mess in the morning, but because I feel really yukky if I don't .___." I feel extremely insecure if I don't do any of these things - Would have no clue why.

OMG! Also … Before I eat / drink anything, I would blow on it … LOL! Whether it be a bowl of soup, a plate of noodles, a bowl of ice cream or a Lime Spider from Krispy Kreme - I'd have to blow on it before I consume it.

Weird hey?
